Gloria & Tom are both Wisconsin natives.  They moved to Illinois in 2000 as a result of Tom taking a wildlife biologist position with Pheasants Forever.  It has been a life long dream for Tom to build and live in a log home.  Tom loves to hunt, fish and train their two labs, Murphy and Mason.  After building their Expedition Log Home Tom was very excited to help other people realize their dream of log home living.

After marrying Tom, Gloria quickly adopted the dream of building and living in a log home.  Gloria loves to be in the outdoors and view the amazing wildlife right out the back window of their new log home!  Gloria is also a PartyLite consultant and loves to decorate the home with candles and candle accesories.

Although Gloria didn't spend as much time hammering nails and staining wood, she helped in the adventure by taking on the many new responsibilities of raising Savanah, their new daughter and holding down the house while Tom was building.  In fact Savanah was born 2 weeks after the building started!  It definitely takes team work to build your dream home.
